Use this app to automatically create Asana tasks as your events fire. You will be able to monitor the progress of Lokalise tasks without leaving Asana.

Installing the app

Open your Lokalise project and proceed to Apps:

Find Asana in the list, click on it, and press Install. Then press Install once again. Review the requested permissions and press Allow to enable Lokalise managing your Asana project.

You'll be presented with the following screen:

  • Organization or Workspace — choose one of the options from the dropdown. Please note that it's not possible to select multiple organizations or workspaces. If you would like to send notifications for multiple organizations, please click Add another handler button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Project — choose an Asana project to send notifications to.

  • Workflow — choose one or more events to send notifications for.

Once you are ready, click Save. Your app is now up and running!

Available events

  • When a task is created, create a new linked Asana task — after a new task is created in Lokalise, a linked Asana task will be created automatically. If this option is enabled, you will also need to choose a Section to store the new task.

  • When an order is created, create a new linked Asana task — after a new translation order is created in Lokalise, a new linked Asana task will be created automatically. If this option is enabled, you will also need to choose a Section to store the new task.

  • When a task language is completed, add a comment to the Asana task — after one of the task languages is marked as completed, a new comment will be added to a linked Asana task.

  • When a task is deleted, perform action on the Asana task — after a task is deleted, the chosen action will be performed on the Asana tasks. Available actions are Mark as completed and Delete.

  • When a task or order is completed, mark Asana task as completed — after a task or translation order is marked as completed a linked Asana task will be also marked as completed.
