The Contentful integration in Lokalise Vantage allows you to import content directly from your Contentful space when creating a project.

Instead of uploading files manually, you can connect your Contentful account, select the content you want to translate, and bring it into Vantage in just a few steps.

To use the Contentful integration, install the Lokalise app from the Contentful Marketplace and connect it to your Lokalise workspace.

Choose the environment where you want to install the app.

The Lokalise app can be used with any environment, but it can only be installed in one environment at a time.

After selecting the environment, you will be prompted to connect to Lokalise.

After connecting to Lokalise, choose New during setup. This creates a new Vantage project automatically. The project name is pre-filled based on the Contentful project name and the environment name.

You can click Open project to view the newly created project in Lokalise.

While on the same Contentful page, click Install to complete the app setup.

After installation, the Assign content types section will appear.

Open an entry in Contentful. In the side panel, you will see the Send to Lokalise button. Click it to send the content to Lokalise for translation.

Open your Lokalise Vantage project. Here you can review, edit, and approve translations in the editor as usual.

When translations are ready, click Send to Contentful in the editor.

Vantage will send the translated content back to your Contentful space, updating the corresponding entries.
