How it works

  • Lokalise automatically detects the language of the conversation and instantly translates into your base language using neural machine translation engine.

  • Agents start comments with ! (exclamation sign) to translate the text into the conversation language.

Privacy notice

Lokalise fetches messages from HubSpot, forwards them to the machine translation engine, and then sends the corresponding translations back. Lokalise and the machine translation engines do not store your messages anywhere.

Lokalise does not fetch or store any customer personal data that's stored in the connected HubSpot instance.

The content of messages sent to or from Lokalise Messages is not stored or logged, staff can't see it and its not used for machine translation engine training or evaluation.

Installation

You don't need to create a Lokalise account to use this app.

The setup process is simple. First, proceed to the Lokalise Messages for HubSpot installation page. Then, just click on the Install button. That's it!

Special notes

To set up Forms for replying to customer requests, you'll need to configure an email address in the Settings/Inbox section. This email address will be used for all replies in form-related conversations. You can specify this email when creating a new form or modify an existing form to include it. It's important that the email address matches the last part of your form's name.

For example, if you're setting up a form for customer support, you might use messages.dev@lokalise.com as your reply-to email:

Ensure this email is valid and recognized as an official communication channel within Hubspot.

This setup ensures that when a message comes through the "New support form messages.dev@lokalise.com" channel, any responses from your team will be sent from the messages.dev@lokalise.com email address.
