Once an admin assigns a task to you, it will appear in the Incoming task widget.
How to open incoming task widget
To access the widget, click on its icon in the left menu.
Task details displayed in the widget
For every task assigned to you, you'll see the following details:
Task type — indicates whether it's a translation or review task.
Due date — if a due date was set during task creation, it will appear next to the task type.
Download style guide — if your team has uploaded a style guide, you can view it by clicking this button.
Task title — click the task title to view all keys assigned to it.
Description — if a description was provided, it will be shown under the task title.
Languages — lists the language(s) you need to translate into or review translations for. Clicking on a language will show the corresponding translations that you need to work on. Each language includes the following:
Words to do — the number of words left to translate or review. This counter updates as you progress. Click the number to see all untranslated or unreviewed entries.
Progress — overall progress for this language.
Status — current status of the task (not started, in progress, or done).
Source language — the language you'll be translating from.
Task creator — the person who created and assigned the task to you.
Project name — the Lokalise project linked to the task. Tasks cannot span multiple projects.
Marking languages as done
Depending on the task configuration set by the creator, you may need to manually mark a language as done, or it might be marked automatically. To manually mark a language as done, open the widget and click "Mark as done."
